Não vou em cantigas de uma "quarta república" quando para mim esta é apenas a Segunda República (que o Estado Novo nunca foi nem quis ser) e do que sei do fim da Primeira, conversas sobre acabar com diferenças de opiniões, na Justiça ou na política, acabam sempre mal. Querem encurtar os prazos dos julgamentos ou alongar os de prescrições em crimes de corrupção? Expliquem, opinem, votem e legislem como compete a um Estado de direito ...

Põe em versos a vida, transcrevendo  fielmente, sem calar pormenores, a evidência dos que vão vivendo. Mas não te esqueças de que ver não é  saber, nem poder, tão ridículo  querer andar que não pelo próprio pé. No sub e no supramundo somam-se  cumplicidades de vísceras, dardejam olhares  de pactos. E os presentes assomam-se Ao limbo do intermédio balaústre: aplaudem, lastimam ambos os sentidos do sublime - o infame, o ilustre. Põe também em versos que morrer  a todos é possível mais do que nascer  e em todo o caso, ser é mais do que dizer.
